About me

I am an artist based in Leicestershire. I originally trained as a Graphic designer but discovered the delights of painting and never looked back. Painting, like cooking, is alchemy - from a few raw ingredients a painting is made. Truly Magic!

Watercolour intrigues me. I relish its unpredictablity, boldness and wealth of colour - each painting is an adventure. It is an ongoing process of learning and discovery.

I love flowers, leaves and generally all the colours and shapes you find in the garden. This does tend to be my starting point and inspiration. It also makes life easy as a painter when inspirational fodder is just outside the back door!

My work has found its way its way into private collections in the UK and abroad. Some of the images are also available to purchase as greetings cards.
